nGenx is very excited to announce the newest addition to their technology team. Henrik Johansson, formerly a Senior Principal Consultant at DGC in Stockholm, Sweden, will bring over 12 years of Citrix technology expertise on networking optimization, cloud and security to the nGenx team as the Director of Professional Services. Johansson has previously worked as an infrastructure architect and designer with a focus on increasing availability and security through the use of Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Branch Repeater and cloud services. With more than 15 years in IT, Henrik is a Citrix NetScaler evangelist and an active participant in the Citrix Technology Professional (CTP) Program as well as a consistent supporter and presenter at a variety of industry events (including Citrix Summit, Synergy, and Microsoft Tech-Days).
Johansson will be co-presenting with Marissa Schmidt, Senior Product Manager at Citrix, at the Citrix Synergy 2012 Conference in San Francisco, California on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The session titled, Best Practices for Enterprise Web Security will focus on dealing with security risks facing organizations with web-based applications. With todays technological advancements, the need to increase security for public and private information is at an all-time high. At the same time, for businesses to grow and prosper, they must increase availability beyond the traditional boundaries. New technologies and tools have changed the business landscape enabling organizations to increase availability and grow their revenue by utilizing cloud services. The session led by Johansson and Schmidt will help organizations to identify security vulnerabilities and protect against different types of attacks.
