VideoSurveillance.com, a leading online reseller of IP camera systems, has announced the addition of the Optica D282 HD 1080P Mini Dome to its suite of indoor dome security cameras.
The Optica D282 camera has been well-received by end users and security installers for its crisp image quality and sleek, compact design. Just over four inches across and less than a half-pound in weight, the D282 suits a wide variety of business and residential applications where concealment is preferred.
Opticas new mini dome camera is small in size, but packs a significant punch in the technologies it offers. In addition to full HD 1080P streaming video at 30 frames per second, the camera is equipped with three wide dynamic range settings, 3D noise cancellation, and a 1/2.7 progressive scan CMOS sensor. These features coalesce to create extremely well-defined, detailed images.
Auxiliary features include a MicroSD card slot for on-board recording, H.264 quad streams, tamper detection, motion detection, privacy masks, vertical view mode, and digital zoom. The camera employs Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology, and includes an on-board mic for audio recording. As with all Optica camera models, the D282 mini dome comes with a two year warranty.
