Retail TouchPoints To Host The Connected Consumer Series: 8-Day Online Webinar Event Helps Retail Executives Improve Business Processes

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ-June 8, 2012 Leaders in the retail industry will gather online next week for a unique opportunity to delve into todays most pressing business issues. Retail TouchPoints (RTP), a leading source for cross-channel customer engagement strategies, will host The Connected Consumer Series, an in-depth webinar series for retail executives, spanning approximately two weeks, with each session running just one hour per day.

He will discuss the tools retailers need to succeed to help them understand their customers' in-store experience.

Christina Heggie, senior Analyst at A.T. Kearney, focusing on digital and social media will host Embracing the Social Shopper: As more shoppers tap into social media to find product information, get deals, read reviews and share opinions on purchases, Heggie will offer top tips and tactics to get up-to-speed on the latest and greatest social strategies. Heggie's previous publications include "Socially Awkward Media", "Can Companies Use Social Media to Find the Way?", and "The Super Bowl Of Social Media." She also leads the research team for A.T. Kearney's annual review of the social media performance of Interbrand's Top 50 companies.

Steve Rowen, PCI Compliance specialist for RSR Research will host Mobilizing Store Associates To Motivate Sales: A frequent source to the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, ComputerWorld, eWeek, CIO Magazine, Internet Retailer, Chain Store Age and many others, as well as a sought-out presenter at high-level and educational industry events, Rowen will look at how mobile tools, such as tablet PCs, bring the information to the sales floor, so associates no longer need to walk away from their customers to find answers to questions. Additionally, with this data at their fingertips, associates can more effectively promote cross-sells and upsells.
